On 10th February 2025, there was inauguration of two new initiatives under Christ Vocational Centre, the Christ Baking Unit and a Sensory Pathway aimed at enhancing students’ skills and well-being.

On 1st February 2025, as part of the Parent Training Session, Ms.Teresa Rani, Asst Professor, Christ Deemed to be University conducted a short session on IFSP Teaching Strategies which was followed by a Session by Dr.Veena Sree Asst. Professor Christ Deemed to be University on the topic of “Ensuring Child Safety : Role of Parents”. Many parents were benefited and had an interaction session to clarify their doubts.

Our students took part in Kalaangana 2025, which was held for 3 days (7th to 9th January 2025) an annual cultural festival for children with special needs, organized by IRC, Bangalore.

We, in collaboration with Christ State School, celebrated our Founder’s Day on 3rd of January 2025.

20th December 2024, Christ Special School combined with Christ State School and celebrated ChristOn mas with great joy. The celebration was organised in two slots. The state school organised a great show, of which our tiny tots were a part of. Dressed as adorable little Santas, they danced their hearts out to celebrate Christmas with full spirit. For the second slot, students from our Secondary and Vocational unit performed carol songs which truly captured the essence of Christmas.

Christ Special School hosted an Inter School sports and cultural meet ‘Chris Fest 2024-25’- Bangalore Special School Championship on December 13, 2024. Thirteen special schools from around Bangalore competed in the event, which was officially opened by Smt. Yamuna, the State Assistant Commissioner for People with Disabilities, the other dignitaries were Rev. Fr. Nilson Davis CMI (Coordinator of the Christ Group of Schools and Principal of Christ ICSE, Kristha Vidhyalaya), Rev. Fr. Johnson Kadaparambil CMI (Principal of CBSE), and our school’s Director, Rev. Fr. Nijo Jose CMI.

On 6th December 2024 our students participated in an Inter-School Sports Competition ‘Go Kridha’ held at Anantha Academy for Special Education.

On December 5th, we organized a school picnic for our students at Bal Bhavan, Cubbon Park. The children enjoyed a joyful toy train ride and explored the Sensory Park, which is specially designed for children with special needs. The students enjoyed the day and were very excited to play in various playground equipment.

On 30th November 2024, as part of Disability Week to raise awareness, our teaching staff conducted special assemblies at Christ ICSE, Christ CBSE, Christ State school and Christha Vidyalaya.

On 29th November 2024, our students participated in the talent show ‘Paripoorna’, organized by Surana vidhyalaya, Chandrapura, Bangalore.
