ABOUT US
Welcome To Christ Special School
Christ Special School is part of the Christ Group of Schools under the Congregation of Mary Immaculate (CMI) management. Learning the need and significance of addressing the education of children with special needs, this school was established by Rev. Fr. Marius CMI in 2012. The aim was to provide quality education and training to the excluded student population to empower them to be independent and functional in their communities. From its humble beginnings, the school is moving towards a center of excellence in child development, providing person-centered and rights-based rehabilitation services. The school functions in the Christ State School building, providing opportunities to interact with peers and enjoy the facilities of typical school life.

Facilities
Speech Therapy
Our speech therapist works with children who have difficulties in speaking, listening, reading, writing, or swallowing. They help them develop their language and communication skills, as well as their oral and facial muscles.
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapists work with children who have problems with their movement, posture, balance, or coordination. They help them improve their physical abilities, prevent injuries, and manage pain.
Dance Movement Therapy
Our dance movement therapists work with children who have emotional, social, or behavioral issues. They help them express their feelings, build their confidence, and enhance their creativity through movement and music.

Our child has special needs, and we were worried about finding the right school. Christ Special School has been wonderful. They’ve helped our child so much with their special learning plans (IEP and IFSP). The teachers work closely with us and our child, and we see improvements every day. They are truly committed to helping each child individually until they do. The school also focuses on our child’s whole development through things like Occupational Therapy (OT), speech therapy, even audio and light therapy. They also provide a real school environment which is really important to us. Our child is learning and growing, and we’re very thankful for the school’s help. We recommend Christ Special School to other families with special needs children.
