On 30th November 2024, as part of Disability Week to raise awareness, our teaching staff conducted special assemblies at Christ ICSE, Christ CBSE, Christ State school and Christha Vidyalaya. The theme of the assemblies, “Friendship Without Labels,” encouraged students to embrace and celebrate the differences in their peers and those around them.
On 2nd December 2024, as part of Disability week, 25 of our students were taken to Christ Deemed University to attend Inclusive Activities conducted by CNRI (Centre for Neurodiversity Research and Innovation) along with 50 NCC students from Christ State School and 25 students from Sophia Opportunity School.
On 3rd December 2024, as part of Disability week, we had a wonderful opportunity to conduct a panel discussion by Ms.Dhanya Ravi, renowned Disability Evangelist, State and National Award Winner and TEDx and JoshTalk Speaker and Rev. Fr. Nijo Jose CMI (Director, Christ Special School) at DVK (Dharmaram Vidhya Kshetram) in the presence of the President of DVK, Rev. Dr. Fr. Joy Kakkanattu CMI and students of DVK.
